Statistics: Apr e-sales of big, medium business more than double

MOSCOW, May 27 (PRIME) -- Online sales of Russia’s large and medium-sized enterprises jumped by 2.4 times on the year in April, and the share of online sales in retail of such firms rose to 6.6% from 2.4% a year earlier, a spokesperson for the Federal State Statistics Service told PRIME late on Tuesday.

“In April 2020 sales of large and medium-sized trading companies via the Internet in comparable prices increased by 7.7% against March and by 2.4 times against April 2019,” the spokesperson said.
